A-T makes strides into Malaysia with AV United

MALAYSIA: AV United has been appointed as the new distributor for Audio-Technica (SEA) in Malaysia. Under the agreement, AV United have the right to distribute A-T microphones, M-Series headphones, and turntables and cartridges, enabling it to provide a complete A/V solution.
‘We will now be able to provide a total audio and visual solution to the Malaysian market,’ stated Chin Foo Heng, director of AV United. ‘Our company status has received an immediate morale boost with Audio-Technica. The synergy between Audio-Technica and AV United will allow both companies to provide the market with the best quality audio solution.’
AV United is a provider of equipment for the pro audio and visual business sectors, with a focus on value for money and reliability. It plans to help the manufacturer expand its presence in the country.
‘Our brand presence in Malaysia is long overdue but we are sure that with AV United’s commitment to build the brand, Audio-Technica can achieve a greater market share in Malaysia,’ said Teng Shaokai, sales manager, regions pro audio division, Audio-Technica (SEA).
