AampT Solutions installation completed in 1000-seat ballroom

INDONESIA: Medan’s Taipan restaurant is a multi-functional venue located in the Capital Building, regularly hosting spectacular weddings, corporate events and parties for up to 1,000 seated guests. The owners and managers Mr Asiang and Ms Mina were unhappy with the uneven sound system in the venue and consulted d&b audiotechnik’s Indonesian distributor, A&T Solutions to design, supply and install a new system for their multi-functional needs in an area measuring 600 sq-m in size.
Anil Saed and his team were given clearance to install an L-R FOH system consisting of dual Ci7 Tops and dual Ci-Subs suspended from the 4.5m ceiling. This is supplemented by two B2 infra red subwoofers located below the stage, whilst E12D delay speakers have been column-mounted further down the hall. The D12 amplifiers powering the system also allow the R60 remote network to monitor and control the PA system via a laptop in addition to full digital signal processing parameters. A Yamaha LS9-32 digital console performs all the mixing for live bands and music playback from a Denon CD player.
