WORLD: Spanish loudspeaker specialist Acústica Beyma has announced a series of changes to its top-tier management team, with president Jose Masip describing the appointments as delivering greater ‘synchronisation’ within the company.
Leading the changes, Jorge Serrano, formerly the manufacturer’s product manager, has been promoted to become director of research and development. In his new role, Mr Serrano will continue to lead the Beyma product portfolio, whilst lending support to the company’s commercial structure and overseeing the development department. Crucially, he will work to align the R&D department more closely with the requirements of not only the manufacturer but also the market – a responsibility described as ‘ensuring the role of Acústica Beyma as a global leading-edge company within the electroacoustic field’.
Elsewhere, Pedro Enguidanos, currently key account manager, will become director of operations. Described as possessing ‘extensive experience’, he will be charged with ‘enabling the better alignment of essential business processes with the growing needs of the market’. Both Mr Serrano and Mr Enguidanos sit on Beyma’s board of directors. In addition, Pablo Galvez has been appointed as quality manager.
‘With these staff movements, Acústica Beyma is positioning people with extensive market experience in key positions of our company,’ commented Jose Masip. ‘It means we will develop a better synchronisation within the entire organisation, helping us to serve a growing global market which increasingly requires more flexibility alongside customised products and services.’
