INDIA: The Adam Hall Group used the recent Frankfurt PL&S show to announce Kripa Electronics (India) Pvt Ltd (KEI) as the new exclusive pan-Indian distributor for its LD Systems brand. The Mumbai-based company has a large presence across the country and over 200 trade partners to support the partnership.
KEI director Sanjay Chawla was vocal in his praise for the company: ‘We’re very excited about joining up with the Adam Hall Group because I think they are ripe for the Indian market and we are also looking for a partner like this. This connection has come at a perfect time.’
With a national distribution network to support the products and eight service centres situated across the country, the potential for the brands is enormous added Mr Chawla. ‘Whilst the live sound market is strong, we see growth in the install and integrator markets and areas where we can reach out to a larger mix of people,’ he said. ‘I really think that the Curv series will do well here, Maui is also great and we’ve already had a lot of interest in the Stinger series, so these are the three products which I think we can do really well with.’
Bodo Falkenried, head of global business development for Adam Hall confirmed his pleasure with the new addition to the family. ‘Appointing KEI for the pan-Indian market is a major step for the Adam Hall Group and enables us to enter more deeply into the market. We have been looking for two years to find a capable partner like KEI and we are quite confident that this is the right partner for the Adam Hall Group.’
Over 75 dealers have been invited by KEI to the upcoming Palm India show in Mumbai, where the distributor will be showcasing a number of key products. Mr Chawla believes they will be just as excited about the range as he is. ‘These products are perfectly poised at their price point for the Indian market. We’re going to be offering a two year warranty on all the products which sets us apart and it means that straight away nobody will doubt the quality of the product.’
