Adamson promotes Ewan McDonald to focus on Asia Pacific

ASIA: Canadian loudspeaker manufacturer Adamson has promoted long-serving product support and applications engineer Ewan McDonald to the position of Asia Pacific business development manager. The promotion sees Mr McDonald returning to his homeland of Australia, where he will be based.
Described by the manufacturer as possessing ‘years of experience’ with the Adamson range, Mr McDonald first joined Adamson in 2009. Prior to this he served as a senior systems engineer and project manager for renowned Australian events company Norwest Productions. His promotion is being attributed to the brand’s growing market share in Asia, while his duties will include organising and setting up product demonstrations while supporting existing customers.
Additionally, Adamson’s marketing department has grown with the arrival of James Oliver, who will assist director of marketing and sales Jesse Adamson with activities including press liaison, advertising, tradeshow planning and online brand management.
An industry newcomer, Mr Oliver boasts more than 10 years of marketing and graphics experience in various music related fields. His role will see the department expand when Ilona Utriainen returns from maternity leave in 2014.
