KOREA: Sound Solution in South Korea recently hosted a day long technical seminar for more than 400 regional audio professionals. The event, which was held at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, included a demonstration of Adamson Systems’ Energía product line.
‘We had a tremendous turnout with many sound engineers very impressed with the Energia system,’ said Hong Lee, of Sound Solution. ‘Having the demo in the Olympic Hall – where many of our attendees have worked before – made it simple for them to compare the Adamson System to others they have used. Everyone was impressed with the clean and powerful sound.’
The Energia demo provided attendees the opportunity to evaluate the E12 and E15 line array enclosures and the E218 subwoofer. Adamson’s David Dohrmann ran the demo, which featured left-right line arrays consisting of nine E15 enclosures, and two E12 cabinets for downfill. Two additional vertical lines of six E218 subwoofers were flown to provide even LF coverage throughout the venue. Further low end was provided by six T21 subwoofers ground stacked at the centre of the stage. The system was powered by Lab.gruppen PLM20000Q amplifiers, which were also being demonstrated by Sound Solution during the event. Throughout the demonstration, Mr Dohrmann also showcased the manufacturer’s newly released BluePrint AV 3D modelling suite.
‘The system sounded fantastic,’ exclaimed Jessy Jin, Sound Solution sales director. ‘Sound engineers, theatre sound directors, rental companies and installation companies were all in attendance to hear the full Energia sound.’
