Advanced myMix applications workshop heads for Singapore

SINGAPORE: An audio applications workshop for the myMix personal mixing and multitrack recording system is set to arrive in Singapore next week, as Queen Street’s Kum Yan Church hosts the largest myMix event of its kind thus far. The workshop is taking place on May 11th between 2pm and 5pm.

Hosted in tandem with the brand’s Singaporean distributor, Broadcast Professional Pte Ltd, the workshop is aiming to introduce attendees to potential professional applications for the system. A broad range of guests from Singapore and regional territories are expected to intend, including representatives from churches, rental companies, dealers, system integrators, and schools. No registration is necessary prior to attendance.

‘System integrators especially need to know how much myMix can do for them in terms of system design and how it can be implemented into projects,’ explained Broadcast Professional’s Adwin Lin. ‘Potential applications include room distribution, simultaneous translation, commercial sound distribution and use with bands and orchestras.’

Mathias von Heydekampf, founder of myMix manufacturer Movek, added: ‘Movek is looking forward to the opportunity to expose sales people and customers in Singapore to myMix, and the category of personal monitor mixing. myMix solves one of the most universal problems that musicians face every day – not hearing the music the way they want. While the concept of myMix can be expressed verbally, the only real way to experience this product is to actually use it. We have a common goal with this seminar – get myMix in front of as many people as we can, in a way that gives them the best insight into the features myMix offers. I am delighted that myMix will be demonstrated in a real live application, in this case a church! This always guarantees a success!’
