KOREA: Several of Amate Audio’s South Korean customers were recently invited to attend a two-day seminar at the Spanish manufacturer’s headquarters in Terrassa, Barcelona. The aim of the event was to strengthen the manufacturer’s relationship with its customers in the region. Also in attendance were representatives from Amate’s South Korean distributor, Daelim Musical Instruments.
Guests were welcomed on the first day by CEO Juan Amate and provided with a factory tour. Following this, vice president and CTO Joan Amate discussed the Joker series prior to a demonstration by product application engineer Daniel Bartolomé.
While the first day focused on the Joker range, the second drew attention to the Xcellence series. Attendees were taken to La torre del Conill for a presentation and demonstration of the solutions in an outdoor environment. That evening, a further indoor demonstration was held at the nearby Number One Club, which is equipped with a variety of Amate systems.
‘The customers who visited Amate Audio in these two days regard Amate Audio as a big family,’ said Sun Uk Ji, general manager of Daelim Musical Instruments. ‘They have learned a lot. We take back amazing memories and news of some future surprises. Moreover, we could listen to all the systems, after explanations from the professionals who developed these products.’
