Amateras Lounge invests in Funktion-One

JAPAN: In a deal distributed by Funktion One Japan, an F-1 Resolution 3 sound system has recently been installed into the Amateras Lounge venue in Nagoya.
Having already invested in Funktion One’s Resolution 4 speakers and F218 dual 18-inch bass enclosures for another of his clubs named Radix, Amateras Lounge owner Mr Banno was keen to purchase more from the brand for the new premises. The Radix install was lead by Funktion One Japan’s Masaaki Azuma, who was called on again for the Nagoya lounge’s audio needs.
Mr Azuma suggested Resolution 3 all-in-one three-way enclosures for the Amateras Lounge, and four were flown from the ceiling to complete the venue’s audio requirements. ‘This is a hip, cool venue which attracts a sophisticated clientele who come to hear the DJ music playing here,’ said Mr Azuma. ‘The challenge was that all the speakers needed to be flown, but this made the Res 3s perfect since this is a genuinely full range cabinet,’ he enthused.
