Ansata takes Apogee account in India

INDIA: Apogee Electronics has appointed Ansata Computer Systems as its new exclusive distributor for the Indian subcontinent, with APAC sales representative Marc Fenton describing the supplier as ‘the perfect partner’.
The 22-year old Ansata represents a wide range of products within the Indian market, though it is arguably best known in pro audio circles for its relationship with Avid. Other brands with which the company works include API, Flux, Sonnox, Waves, McDsp, Neyrinck, AudioEase and URS. It is led by managing director Leslie Lean, who Mr Fenton praised as possessing an ‘impressive knowledge of the market from both the technical and marketing perspectives’.
‘Apogee sees the Indian market as one of the most important markets in Asia in the coming years,’ Mr Fenton continued. ‘With a veritable acceleration of demand for Apogee’s products in India and the introduction of JAM, Duet 2, and the continued success of our flagship product, Symphony I/O, the appointment of Ansata will undoubtedly pave the way for further growth.’
Leslie Lean added that Ansata is ‘delighted to be associated with Apogee to bring their amazing range of products to Indian customers.’
