Apex appoints E&E in South East Asia

ASIA: Apex has appointed Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd (E&E) as its exclusive distributor in South East Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Founded in 1991 and based in Belgium, Apex manufactures digital and analogue equipment for the touring and installation markets, but lacked representation in the region until this appointment.
Apex international sales representative Craig Lovell worked alongside E&E as a sales and marketing manager for Amek in the late 1990s. He describes himself as delighted to be working with the distributor again.
‘E&E have a fabulous reputation in the region and can point to an envious catalogue of references, so Apex clearly has a great future to look forward to here,’ he commented. ‘E&E’s installations and close relationships with consultants, system integrators and production companies will further enhance our brand here. However, we’re looking to conduct product training clinics and workshops for the Intelli-series of processors and noise control solutions that we provide over the next few months.’
Speaking at the recent Palme Asia exhibition, during which E&E hosted Apex products for the first time, E&E deputy managing director Gary Goh was convinced that the new partnership represents a win-win situation for both parties. ‘We’ve received good interest at this show with the Apex products displayed,’ he explained. ‘Noise regulations are becoming increasingly important here in Singapore and the region, and Apex’s solutions will help our customers in this field.’
