Apex Processors installed in retail-store karaoke chain

CHINA: Apex processors have been installed in a fleet of karaoke bars located in discount retail stores throughout China. Owned by the Dalian Wanda Group – one of China’s biggest real estate development companies – the venues are located in Super Star retail stores in eight Chinese provinces.
The venues have all been installed with Apex Intelli-X48 processors supplied by local distributor Budee Technology Development Co Ltd, following a previous deal which saw the processor used in a private karaoke club located in a Sofitel managed hotel. Prior to the installation, Wanda Group engineers reportedly considered a range of audio equipment before settling on a final design that comprised the Intelli-X48 processors, loudspeakers from Outline Audio and Lab.gruppen amplification.
‘We are very pleased that Wanda Group has been so impressed with Apex processors,’ commented Apex marketing manager Jeroen Sierjacobs. ‘Budee has put together an excellent system featuring our processors and it is gratifying that they are such an important part of these installations, by one of China’s highest profile development companies.’
The first phase of the project was completed in December 2010, but Wanda Group is now planning to build similar venues in other provinces.
