Arts Centre invests in three more DiGiCo consoles

AUSTRALIA: Having previously invested in a DiGiCo SD7, SD10 and SD9, the Arts Centre Melbourne has just purchased another SD7 for Hamer Hall's front of house, a second SD10 for broadcast and an SD11 for the Fairfax Studio.

Group Technologies recently completed the handover of the three consoles, bringing the centre’s DiGiCo inventory up to six desks. The consoles’ ‘power and intuitive user interface’ and their consistently throughout the theatres are said to be key benefits for the Arts Centre’s professional operators.

The centre features four complete theatres, comprised of the 2,300+ capacity Hamer Hall, the 1,200+ capacity State Theatre, the 780+ capacity Playhouse Theatre and the 375+ capacity Fairfax Studio. In addition, the centre also has a complete art gallery and runs the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
