Atlona Technologies appoints Jon Baker as international sales manager

WORLD: Jon Baker has been named international sales manager for Atlona Technologies. The digital connectivity solutions company described Mr Baker as possessing ‘more than 10 years of sales experience in the consumer electronics and professional A/V industries, along with the ability to find, create, and build relationships’.
Mr Baker previously worked for A/V distributor Audio Plus Services as sales and marketing manager for the western United States. Prior to this he worked in the sales department for electronics and entertainment systems company, Bay Area Audio. Atlona Technologies president Ilya Khayn said that ‘it was essential, as a growing international company, to choose the right person to lead us in the expanding global market. With Jon leading the charge, Atlona will continue to successfully promote its product lines within multiple markets across the globe.’
In his new role, Mr Baker will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Atlona’s digital connectivity solutions in the international home theatre and professional A/V markets, whilst providing support fro Atlona’s existing and prospective overseas clients.
Regarding his new appointment, Mr Baker described joining Atlona as ‘a very welcome experience’. ‘I am excited for the opportunity to personally take the helm for Atlona’s international accounts, and look forward to broadening our horizons on a global level while cultivating personal relationships along the way’, he added.
In his new role, Mr Baker will support the Atlona dealer base by attending CEDIA UK and next year’s ISE.
