Audient appoints Digime in China for compact range distribution

CHINA: Digime has been appointed as a distributor for Audient’s compact line of products in China. Digime’s chief operating officer Lenlo Zhu and his team were particularly impressed with the visitor response to Audient’s range at the recent Palm China Expo 2014 in Beijing, especially the iD22 USB audio interface.
‘It’s simply fantastic,’ Mr Zhu stated. ‘It has the traditional, classic Audient console sound, with a British design style. A monitor, mixer and mic preamp all in one unit.’
‘Digime has built a strong presence in the pro audio market and is uniquely positioned to connect directly with our rapidly growing customer base in China,’ said Audient’s Simon Blackwood. ‘We couldn’t be happier with the new partnership.’
China distributor HX Audio will continue to look after Audient’s console sales in the Hong Kong and Chinese territories.
