Audio Cratz installs Quest at the Advanced Academy

INDIA: Audio Cratz has installed a Quest sound reinforcement system into the Grand Auditorium at the Advanced Academy in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The system, which was supplied by distributor, Sun Infonet, has been installed with the aim of provided coverage for a variety of events, whilst maintaining the hall's unique interior design.

The Academy was founded in 1999 Anil Raj. Having begun its journey under the banner of Life Care with a humble 60 students and six teachers, the institution has expanded rapidly. Today the Academy has over 200 staff members and more than 2000 students.

The campus houses an 800-seat Grand Auditorium, e-library, mind spark lab, A/V rooms, digital classes and a sports complex. The Academy decided it wanted a multiple purpose venue capable of catering for seminars, stage performances and more, and therefore the audio system installed needed to be suitably versatile. The hall is also described as having a prestigious design. The choice to opt for Quest speakers was reportedly influenced by their visual appeal.

The system has been designed with Quest QM12FRs on either side of the stage, and Quest MS801s mounted to the sidewalls for additional coverage. The cabinets were powered by QA3004 and QTA6250 amplifiers respectively.

In addition to the installed speaker system, Audio Cratz supplied the Academy with Shure PG48 and SM58 microphones. A wireless system consisting of an SVX4 diversity receiver, SVX2 handheld transmitter and PG48 capsule was also provided.
