Audio-Technica 50th anniversary celebrations arrive in Guangzhou

CHINA: The Grand Ballroom of The Westin Guangzhou recently hosted the latest in a series of celebrations and gala product launches intended to mark the 50th anniversary of Audio-Technica.
Hosted by Audio-Technica (Greater China) and attended by key distributors and members of the media, the Chinese celebration followed a similar night in Singapore, as previously reported by Pro Audio Asia.
Almost 50 new products were reportedly introduced in Guangzhou during the afternoon of the event, including special commemorative microphones and headphones, while speeches were delivered by guests including A-T president Kazuo Matsushita, and A-T (Greater China) director of sales & marketing Freddie Wong.
A special catwalk session with male and female models also took place to introduce the new products, intercut with musical performances. Later in the evening guests enjoyed a special fusion dinner and karaoke.
