Audio-Technica prepares for regional microphone seminar tour

ASIA: Audio-Technica South East Asia (S.E.A) is planning a series of three seminars discussing surround sound microphone technology and the future of wireless. Taking place in Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta on November 3rd, 5th and 7th respectively, the events will be led by product manager Alexander Lepges, who will bring his broad experience to discussions with consultants, systems integrators and end-users.
Having worked on both the 2004 Summer Games in Athens and 2008 Summer Games in Beijing, Mr Lepges is considered one of Audio-Technica’s foremost experts in surround sound microphone techniques for the live broadcast of sports events. He will share that knowledge at all three seminars while also speaking about the future of wireless microphone technology and the main differences between digital and analogue systems.
The first event is scheduled to take place in Singapore on November 3rd, starting at 2pm at the SMU Arts and Cultural Centre. The Bangkok event will take place on November 5th at the showroom of distributor Vichai Trading (1983), again starting at 2pm and also focusing on the ATCS-60 infra-red conferencing system alongside a discussion on Dante. Finally, November 7th will see the tour arrive at Jakarta’s Balai Warga Function Room in the Royal Mediterania Garden Lavender Tower (also the home of SSR Jakarta).
