Audio-Technica sponsors Yamaha Asian Beat 2011

SINGAPORE: For the second year running, Audio-Technica was an official microphone sponsor for Asian Beat 2011, and provided a range of microphones for the talent contest.
Audio Technica supplied six ATM610 hypercardioid dynamic microphones for vocals, two AEW-T6100 wireless microphones for the host with an AEW-R5200 receiver, three AE5100 for the guitars, and an AE2500DE dual element microphone for the kick drum. Additional equipment supplied comprised three AE3000 for hi- hats, three ATM650s for the snare, and five ATM350s for the toms.
As part of prize packages for the winners of the Area Heat finals, Audio-Technica provided a series of microphone and headphone packages, which included an AT4040SM studio microphone pack, an AE5400 cardioid condenser handheld microphone, an AE3300 cardioid condenser handheld microphone, five ATH-T500 T-series headphones, and an ATH-PRO500 professional DJ headphone.
‘Audio-Technica is proud to be part of this collaboration for the second year,’ stated Teng Shaokai, senior regional business development of Audio-Technica (SEA) Pte Ltd. ‘Local musicians should be given the opportunity to nurture their musical abilities and showcase their talents on a larger stage, and Yamaha Asia Beat is definitely a good platform for our young talents to do so.’
Continuing, he said: ‘We are looking into a long term partnership with Asian Beat because we see the synergy between their objectives in promoting local musicians, and our objectives to promote our brand to the local music scene.’
