Auralex promotes eco-product web page

WEB: US-based acoustical treatment specialist Auralex Acoustics Inc has introduced a new portion of its website designed to focus attention on its environmentally friendly products. Accessed via a tab on the main Auralex website, the new page is dubbed the ‘Auralex Green Initiative’ and acts as a portal to each individual product.

Describing the new web page as ‘based on customer demand’, Auralex is highlighting the growing movement among studio designers to utilise ‘green’ building and renovation techniques. The manufacturer is also keen to argue that several of its products can assist in the acquisition of LEED certification, a measurement of environmentally supportive conduct that can qualify construction projects for tax rebates and zoning allowances in some regions.

‘This will help our eco-conscious customers evaluate all of their options without having to navigate through multiple tabs on our Website,’ explained Eric Smith, Auralex founder and president. ‘We are committed to our green initiatives and will continue to look at ways to further educate our customers about green alternatives that are available.’

Among the Auralex products falling into the company’s ‘eco’ range is Studiofoam Eco, which includes soy components to reduce petroleum-based chemical usage by up to 60 per cent; and the Sustain range of bamboo-based sound diffusers.
