Australian Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup subsidiary opens in Sydney

AUSTRALIA: Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup has opened a wholly-owned Australian subsidiary located in Sydney’s city centre. The office is being led by Treva Head, whose involvement in both the professional audio and broadcasting sectors stretches back over more than 15 years.
The German manufacturer is attributing the decision to open the new office to its increasing ‘growth in foreign markets’, as Stephan Salzbrenner, managing director of marketing and sales, explained: ‘One of our secrets of success is to stay in close touch with our customers. Today we have our own subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, Russia and the USA, all of which follow this philosophy. We’re now happy to offer the same level of service and sensitivity to our customers requirements to the fast growing Australian market.'
Joining Mr Head in the new office is project engineer Mark Lownds alongside Wil Stam, who previously oversaw international sales at the company’s headquarters in Buttenheim, Germany. Meanwhile, Mr Head has declared that he will focus equally on the broadcast, fixed installation and theatre markets, all of which he believes hold potential for Mediagroup sales.
‘Our subsidiary opens up just in time for the replacement of the first generation of digital audio equipment in Australia,’ Mr Head explained. ‘As in Australia the main focus is on the highest levels of functionality and the latest technologies, our products are a natural fit.’
The new office is based in Huntley Street within the Alexandria suburb of Sydney, while Mr Head and his team will be exhibiting at the SMPTE Australia exhibition, taking place at the Sydney Exhibition Centre between July 19th and 22nd, and at Integrate 2011, which will be held from August 30th to September 1st at Moore Park.
