HONG KONG: Taking place at the Marriott Skycity Hotel in Hong Kong, beyerdynamic’s recent Asia Sales Summit attracted 35 participants from 10 countries, including distributors and beyerdynamic representatives from throughout Asia. The evening was intended to provide partners with insight into the company’s recent and future operations, as well as introduce and explore its latest products. A key highlight of the summit was the manufacturer’s new Orbis wired conference products.

For Orbis, this focussed on the different possible network topologies, as well boardroom integration and the usage of various microphones types. The new RM31Q vertical microphone array was also highlighted. Additionally, Mr Pietschmann explained the essentials about antennas, antenna cables and antenna placement to provide the best coverage of the conference room.
Mr Pietschmann also introduced a new transmitter with rechargeable batteries for the TG1000. ‘Our partners have experienced the great new components and features of our existing products,’ he stated. ‘They have reported good experiences with beyerdynamic products in the field and are pleased with our good quality German manufacturing.’
