Biamp announces training for Asia and Middle East
Published: ASIA
WORLD: Biamp Systems has announced the extension of its Biamp Education Experience into Asia and the Middle East, with new in-person events – focusing on Vocia and Tesira – scheduled to take place in both Hong Kong and Dubai between October 2014 and September 2015. The manufacturer will supplement the events with webinars and on demand video content, while attendees will be able to gain product certification.
Promising to deliver ‘the best practices and technical concepts needed for successfully designing, installing, and commissioning audio projects with Biamp products’, the events follow the growth of the in-person training programme, which launched in 2013.
‘Since launching the in-person programme, Biamp has continuously expanded its training into different parts of the world in a variety of ways in order to accommodate a rising interest in our courses and technology,’ explained Kiley Henner, education and applications engineering manager. ‘With new offerings both in-person and online, customers can complete their training requirements and continue to build their knowledge base with increased flexibility.’
Online training options include webinar-based courses for distance learners on topics ranging from the basic ‘Audio 101’ courses to product-specific tutorials across all of the manufacturer’s A/V lines. Additionally, content can be found on YouTube, www.proaudioeducation.com and the Cornerstone knowledge database.
