Biamp expands training programme through India

INDIA: Biamp Systems has announced the expansion of its training programme. Broken down into three delivery formats, the new training will include more options and will cover a wider range of A/V topics – specifically targeting the Indian market.

The training will comprise Biamp certification training, webinars and online videos. As 2013 progresses, the manufacturer will be rolling out one-day, in-person courses that cover a widening spectrum of information, and will be held in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore.

The certification training will be a product-specific session that will cover Audia, Nexia, Vocia and Tesira products. The classes will be held in the company’s Beaverton, USA headquarters training facility, Amsterdam, Mumbai, and in Bangkok.

The webinars will take the form of virtual classes on Biamp’s online training page, and topics will include information ranging from the basic principles of audio to advanced Nexia-specific topics.

Biamp online videos now cover a wide range of information, and are said to be ‘ideal’ for those who are new to the Nexia product family, are looking for an audio refresher course, or are just interested in learning about a given topic. Available on Biamp Systems’ training YouTube channel, each class covers a specific topic and lasts a few hours.

‘Biamp is excited about rolling out more training options,’ commented Kevin Jacobson, global training manager at Biamp Systems. ‘Customers continue to request more ways to gain Biamp's training. We believe this will offer flexible options to learn at all interest levels and across multiple locations. These classes are for those new to our DSP products all the way to Audia, Vocia, and Tesira certification. By providing both online and hands-on training, we're offering the best of both worlds.’
