Biamp launches Cornerstone online knowledge base

WORLD: Biamp Systems has announced the creation of a new online technical support knowledge base named Cornerstone. Described by Biamp as the ‘the newest level of service and support’, it will be housed on the Biamp website and is intended to become a ‘highly searchable, self-help repository’ offering access to the knowledge of the company’s applications engineering team.
Dubbed a ‘supportal’ by Kiley Henner, Biamp’s education and applications engineering manager, Cornerstone has been designed to offer round-the-clock support with an emphasis on searchable content. According to the manufacturer, end-users will be able to easily locate relevant information about their projects and equipment in a single location. Available information will include articles, white papers, technical notes, data sheets and tutorial videos.
In addition, visitors will be able to access product-specific configurations, best practices, and industry-related insights. Concepts such as VoIP, AVB, distance conferencing, and networked audio will also be addressed at length.
‘This is yet another way for our customers to access technical support information, any time of day or night,’ added Mr Henner. ‘Biamp app engineers will always be available via phone and through our onsite professional services. It’s what we do.’
