Biamp Systems opens Indian service centre

INDIA: Biamp Systems has announced the opening of a dedicated Indian service centre in Mumbai, describing the move as part of its ‘strategic expansion plans within the region’. According to the manufacturer, the facility – managed by a team of Biamp application engineers – will provide service and repairs under warranty for Biamp products within the country, effective immediately.

‘The emergence of the Indian marketplace in the audio space creates several exciting opportunities,’ commented Robin Ghose, Biamp’s SAARC regional manager. ‘As we continue to invest in the region, our focus is on developing infrastructures that facilitate first-rate customer service. Opening an in-country service centre is a natural extension for the growth of our Indian sales team.’

Martin Bonsoir, EMEIA applications engineering manager for Biamp Systems, added: ‘It was extremely important that the India service centre offer quality on par to the service centre at our headquarters in Oregon. Our Indian customers can now concentrate on creating outstanding communication solutions with our equipment, knowing they have access to an additional support channel.’
