Bosch hosts Singapore product introduction day with OMNEO

SINGAPORE: Bosch recently gathered a number of consultants and Security Certified Partners to its latest product introduction day, which was held at The Arts House in Singapore. The event offered attendees the opportunity to attend a number of hands-on sessions with new Bosch products, many focused on OMNEO, as well as hearing special presentations from key speakers.

Attracting visitors from Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam, the day began with keynote presentations. Wilfred Steeman (vice president of Bosch Security Systems Asia Pacific) offered a talk on the correlation between sound and arts and the importance of making products appeal to as broad a market as possible. Next, Ethan Wetzell, platform strategist and OMNEO ambassador spoke about the OMNEO project and liaising with other companies within the industry, including Yamaha. Representatives from The Netherlands, USA and Asia also presented new applications for conferencing, public address, pro audio and RTS intercom.

The afternoon saw break-out sessions take place where visitors could enjoy product demonstrations and more. Among the technologies covered were multimedia conferencing with OMNEO, RTS intercom enabled by OMNEO and the Electro-Voice RCM28 DSP module and Plena matrix. All aspects of the event were supported by Bosch rental partner Congress Rental Singapore, a member of the Bosch Congress Rental Network. Alongside setting up demonstration equipment, the company provided end-to-end event management.

At the day’s end the group retired to nearby EV-equipped restaurant 22 Dempsey, where Electro-Voice endorsees Lincoln and Janice performed.
