Brähler stake sold to Chinese investor group

CHINA: mpool Beteiligungen GmbH has sold its complete stake in Brähler ICS Konferenztechnik AG to a Chinese investor group.
The company’s sale to Chinese investors, close to the conference technology company Quadra Technic ICS Limited in Hong Kong, gives Brähler ICS Konferenztechnik AG an opportunity to improve its position in the Asian market.
‘After successful implementation of initial restructuring measures by the management team introduced by mpool Beteiligungen GmbH, Brähler ICS Konferenztechnik AG showed a significant year-on-year improvement in earnings in the first five months of fiscal year 2013, and the company’s debt position has been notably reduced,’ said a company spokesperson.
The executive and supervisory boards of ICS Brähler Konferenztechnik AG ‘welcome the new owners and anticipate that the restructuring process introduced by mpool Beteiligungen GmbH will be steadfastly continued’.
