Broadcast Asia highlights the introduction of Tech Zones

SINGAPORE: Singapore Exhibition Services is promoting the addition of TechZones and Technology Trails to Broadcast Asia 2011 and CommunicAsia2011, which are set to take place between June 21st and 24th at Suntec Singapore and the Marina Bay Sands respectively.
To mark the sixteenth year of Broadcast Asia, the 2011 show will take the theme ‘integrating technology, experiencing content’. Both the TechZone and Technology Trail features will see the exhibition company ‘organise key exhibitors by breakthrough technologies’, in an effort to ensure attendees ‘experience an enhanced show atmosphere’. Meanwhile, the company is keenly trumpeting the facilities offered by this year’s venues, with purpose-built conference rooms, seminar rooms and hospitality suites allowing for increased networking opportunities.
‘Hosting the events in their new, in-town venues will enhance sourcing activities, networking opportunities and knowledge-sharing potential both on and off the exhibition floors,’ declared Victor Wong, project director of communication events for Singapore Exhibition Services. ‘In today’s industry, face-to-face and open forum meetings have never been more important.’
