Broadcast Solutions GmbH opens Bangkok office

THAILAND: German OB van specialist Broadcast Solutions GmbH is to open a new office in Bangkok led by newly appointed South East Asia sales and marketing manager Tevarit Dolorfino. The establishment of the office has been described by the company as ‘a logical step to foster its local customer relationships and to take a step forward in this vibrant area’.
Mr Dolorfino has previously held positions with companies including Philips Electronics, Thomson Grass Valley and Digital Film Technology Munich. According to Broadcast Solutions he possesses ‘vast experience in the broadcast business and especially in the South East Asian market’.
‘I very much look forward to working for Broadcast Solutions and to pushing the business in the area,’ commented Mr Dolorfino. ‘With its experience and expertise in all of the different sub-areas of broadcasting and system integration, there are a lot of benefits for the Asian area. I’m very pleased that the company puts confidence in me as a person and as a professional sales guy and that I’m part of this development.’
Peter Jakobsson, business development director at Broadcast Solutions, added his own note of support for the appointment of Mr Dolofino, describing it as a ‘further step in developing a worldwide sales network with offices in the most important markets around the globe. We see a lot of potential in the South East Asian area and Tevarit, with his background both in sales and technology, is the perfect choice to push forward this venture’.
The opening of the office is also due to coincide with an extensive road show throughout several countries in the region, starting in early 2015.
