BVCAM increases APG visibility in Beijing

CHINA: APG’s Chinese distributor, BVCAM Ltd, has opened a couple of showrooms in Beijing, showcasing the manufacturer’s products. The first is located in the Fangzhuang district and exclusively features APG, while the second in the city’s Yizhuang Economic-Technological Development Area is split between pro audio and broadcasting.
The Fangzhuang showroom reportedly places great emphasis on APG’s flagship Uniline range, while the SMX and DX lines are also displayed, as well as the MX micro axial range of loudspeakers. The SB and TB subwoofer lines back all of the loudspeakers highlighted, with the SA30:2 Class-D amplifiers powering the systems and DMS48 digital processors feeding everything. Whilst the Yizhuang showroom also includes lighting fixtures, 3D and 4K cameras for use in a broadcast studio, APG’s UL210, TB2018 and a DMS48 are at the forefront, managing the audio throughout the facility and powered by a pair of SA30:2 amps.
‘We wanted the showrooms to be a window to the APG brand and expertise, so that customers are able to listen and feel the technological advances that APG brings to the audio market,’ explained BVCAM general manager, Danny Huen. ‘We have been working on building APG’s reputation and reference installations in China since 2007. We are very confident about APG’s potential in the years to come, so both showrooms really are the logical evolution of where we want to get the brand to.’
‘Thanks to BVCAM, the APG brand has gone from humble starts in China to a recognised brand providing the highest level of professional speaker systems in the industry,’ added APG’s executive vice president, R&D, innovation and marketing, Gregory Dapsanse.
