CHINA: As part of an expansion and renovation project which commenced in 2011, the Concordia Lutheran School located in Kowloon, Hong Kong has been equipped with a new PA system with equipment from BXB.
BXB agent Sunrise Trading took part in phase one of equipping the school with a new PA system, with the second phase due to reach completion in February 2012. Jeff Li, Sunrise sales representative and its partner PCCW jointly oversaw the project, which included installing BXB equipment comprising a WMP-60D remote decoder, a WMP-2100 main controller, and WSC-2100 software.
According to Mr Li, the reason for selecting a BXB PA system was because he considers it to be ‘easy to install and use’. Not wanting to delay the installation process by waiting for the building renovation to be completed, the team worked on the parts of the PA system they could access at any given time to complete the project. Later on, the team added the decoder, speakers, and extended the main cable into the classrooms in order to integrate the existing broadcasting system.
In addition to this, two customised decoders were installed on campus in order for staff to play music or broadcast in two different zones, also allowing them to broadcast through the main WMP-2100 controller.
