CHINA: Bao Ye Heng (also known as C-Mark audio), has announced that it has become the latest member to join the OCA Alliance, and will work with existing members to discuss ways to overcome the challenge of interoperability in the professional audio market.
Speaking about the company’s reasons for joining the alliance, C-Mark’s Brock Lan said: ‘We as a company understand that a network audio solution will be a key point for pro audio technologies in the future, and as we have undertaken extensive R&D on network audio technologies and products for many years, and have already got different solutions for both performance and installation applications, we hope to communicate with our industry colleagues about technical developments and applications,’ he said.
C-Mark put itself forward to join the alliance, and Mr Lan reports that C-Mark joined ‘in the hope of keeping its network audio technology as advanced as possible, so that our technology can be applicable to a vast number of applications.
‘Joining the OCA Alliance shows that C-Mark strives to keep learning and improving,’ furthered Mr Lan. ‘We want to try our best to associate with those who have the most advanced technologies. Also, as the first in China to join the alliance, we hope to be able to help China to develop this kind of technology in the future.’
C-Mark will work with OCA Alliance members to work towards creating an open public standard for professional media network systems.
