Centre For Human Genetics chooses Tannoy

INDIA: Tannoy VX 8.2 loudspeakers have recently been installed into a 156-seat auditorium at the Centre For Human Genetics in Bangalore, India. M/S Hansa designed and installed the venue’s A/V system.

After witnessing a VX Series demo, M/S Hansa’s Gautam Shah felt certain that the range would be suitable for the centre. Intelligibility of speech was the client’s main concern, and after careful testing, Mr Shah found that just one pair of Tannoy VX 8.2 loudspeakers would offer the desired coverage.

‘The director from the Centre For Human Genetics was impressed by the VX 8.2 sound quality and dispersion,’ said Mr Shah. ‘In fact, he praised the audio quality and the entire job in general. This was the first opportunity I have had to use Tannoy’s VX Series, but it certainly won’t be the last time,’ he concluded.

M/S Hansa also installed a Dynatech amplifier, a Biamp Systems Nexia VC digital signal processor, a Peavey mixer, a Kramer A/V switcher, and a power conditioner from Furman. Microphones from AKG, JTS, Sennheiser and Samson were also selected for the auditorium.
