Change to board of directors for Ross Video

WORLD: Canada’s Ross Video has announced the retirement of long-standing board member Brian Baldry, as well as the addition of incoming corporate secretary Lorraine Mastersmith. Ms Mastersmith is a partner in the Business Law Group at Perley-Robertson Hill & McDougal LLP in Ottawa, Canada, focusing on corporate finance and securities. She has also acted as in-house legal counsel for two major Ottawa headquartered multinational technology companies.
Prior to joining the Ross Video board in 1996, Mr Baldry enjoyed a long career in broadcasting, serving with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as senior director of engineering. ‘We would like to thank Brian Baldry for his many years of service to Ross, helping to guide us through 18 consecutive years of continuous growth,’ said CEO David Ross. ‘Brian has made many valuable contributions to our organisation and we have enjoyed his depth of industry experience, level-headed approach and insightful observations.’
Regarding the arrival of Ms Mastersmith, he added, ‘We would like to welcome Lorraine Mastersmith to our board of directors. Her background is a nice complement to the strengths our existing board members. It is great to have someone with such a solid business and legal perspective to join our team.’
