JAPAN: Chiayo Electronics Co Ltd was presented with a silver medal award for its Stage Pro amplifier at the recent 26th World Genius Convention, held at the Shinjuku Nishiguchi Event Corner, Tokyo.
‘Stage Pro is the world’s first product combining a mixer into a wireless amplifier, and it also has a rechargeable design which makes it truly portable,’ explained Teresa Hung, senior manager, Chiayo. ‘It won the silver award because this is the first model in the audio market that has been designed with a “true innovation” concept in mind. Stage Pro has been designed to work with many optional 3C devices like MP3 players, Bluetooth receivers and DVDs, extending the application to more users – especially street performers.
‘Winning this award is definitely a great honour and is very encouraging for Chiayo,’ Ms Hung continued. ‘Chiayo also received a Seoul Invention Award in 2011 and a silver award at the Geneva International Exhibitions of Inventions in 2012. Winning the silver medal award at the 26th World Genius Convention in Japan – which is considered one of the most competitive conventions in the world – has added another proud moment to Chiayo's history.’
Elaborating further, Ms Hung said: ‘This is our first attempt at bringing a brand new concept into a real product, and now Stage Pro is considered to be a standout model in the audio industry. With the endorsement of this award and its growing popularity in the market, Chiayo will continue to lead the trend and will endeavour to develop more innovative products in future.’
