Clear-Com Tempest system used for cancer fundraiser

AUSTRALIA: A Clear-Com Tempest wireless intercom system was recently used for a fundraising event staged by Tour de Cure, a cycling foundation committed to finding a cure for cancer, at Sydney’s Doltone House. The Tempest system was supplied by corporate events specialist Microhire, having been purchased from Australian distributor Jands.
Named A Day of Inspiration…Secrets of Achievement, the fundraiser was the fourth such annual event to be held by Tour de Cure and featured guest speakers from a diverse range of areas including sports, business, not-for-profit organisations and the community. The event marked the first time that Microhire used its four-channel, 2.4 GHz Tempest system, with general manager Thomas Armati describing it as a ‘flexible yet reliable system’.
He added: ‘It seamlessly integrates with our existing wired intercom systems. We’ve also discovered that the talkback system has an operating frequency that doesn’t interfere with any other wireless instruments that may also be present.’
