Cornering Singapore’s loudspeaker market

SINGAPORE: In just seven years since its inception, Cornered Audio has specialised itself as a major producer and developer of innovative sound systems - for corners. The Danish loudspeaker manufacturer has developed a niche both in the consumer and professional sectors for creating speakers that can be installed between two walls. Following an agreement with Control Logic Systems Pte Ltd (CLSPL), the Danes have now cornered the market in Singapore.
CLSPL’s managing director, David Seow, travelled to Frankfurt’s Pro Light & Sound to conclude terms and conditions with Cornered Audio founder Hans Madsen. ‘I was seeking an audio solution on the internet for several architecturally challenging projects that we were bidding for,’ explained Mr Seow. ‘When I discovered Cornered Audio, I was immediately drawn to their uniquely designed triangular speakers. Further to enquiries with Hans, who sent me several samples, I was amazed by the audio quality exhibited by models such as the C5. In general, their cabinets offer extremely wide audio coverage and literally fit anywhere, so I’m pleased to announce that we have been successful in our recent bids by specifying these in the designs.’
