Cosmovision announced as Calibre UK partner

CHINA: Calibre UK has announced that Hong Kong-based integrator and supplier Cosmovision will provide its HQView processors, scalers, switchers and scan convertors to businesses in China and Hong Kong.
‘The addition of Calibre UK HQView to our product portfolio complements our existing product offering,’ said Philip Yeung, Cosmovision director. ‘We are now able to provide processing, scaling, warp, soft edge blending for projection applications,’ he explained.
‘We expect Calibre UK to be popular in Hong Kong and China,’ Mr Yeung continued. ‘As one of the world’s biggest financial centres, there are many convention and exhibition services looking to use the best display technologies.'
‘Cosmovision is perfectly placed to offer our HQView product range to this specialist market, and we look forward to hearing more about how our product innovations are used by this exciting market,’ added Tim Brooksbank, chairman at Calibre UK.
The agreement is already in action, and Cosmovision reports that it recently supplied a HQView320 image scaler to the Macau Science Museum for a large video wall exhibition display.
‘For this application, we were searching through the Calibre UK product line and found the HQView 320 to be a perfect fit,’ enthused Mr Yeung.
