Crestron Asia launches revamped website

WEB: Crestron Asia Ltd has revamped its website, aiming to provide easier navigation, a cleaner interface, increased usability and a more streamlined browsing experience.
The homepage has been given a ‘fresh’ new look, which includes an aesthetic design, an up to date news section and a training sessions feature. Initially, the site will be available in English, traditional and simplified Chinese, with additional languages to be gradually rolled out at a later date.
The training sessions function is a key new feature, and is expected to extend an improved customer experience to Crestron Asia’s existing clients. The tool provides detailed information of any CTI Training Courses, including training agendas, course schedules and locations. Each program is sorted by country and/or city, and customers can keep up to date with any future sessions.
Due to improved site architecture, product information is presented in a clearer format, whilst an intuitive navigational tool is designed to help users quickly access information. An additional ‘project registration’ tool has also been added.
‘As the Internet and online communications evolve, users become more sophisticated,’ said Phoebe Chu, assistant marketing and communications director of Crestron Asia. ‘When brands do not keep up, their websites become obsolete, so an update was definitely necessary. We placed an emphasis on improving usability, aesthetics, content and visibility on search engines ¬– all of which will increase the level of Crestron Asia’s respective relevancy in search results.
‘We also integrated social media components with links to Facebook, Weibo and YouTube videos,’ she explained. ‘These couple of things, grouped with the rest of the improvements should hopefully see an increase in the usability and accessibility of the site, whilst making it more attractive to visitors at the same time.’
