Crowne Plaza Hotel chooses Harman

INDIA: JBL and Crown products were recently installed into the newly opened Crowne Plaza Hotel at Rohini, New Delhi. The 183-room luxury hotel required a ‘state of the art’ sound system to reflect its image as ‘one of the finest of hotels in New Delhi’.
Systems integrator AGC Networks recommended and designed the audio equipment for the project. ‘A project such as the Crowne Plaza, with its premium location, has extensive and precise A/V requirements,’ stated Mayank Gaurav of AGC Networks. ‘We wanted to provide the hotel operations staff with the most "easily managed" system as possible. We believe this has been successfully met by the Harman Professional brands with the added bonus of the support from the experts from Harman Professional India.’
The JBL Control Contractor Series (comprising the Control 26CT, 24 CT, 24 CT Micro, and Control 126 WT) was described as the ‘ideal solution’ for the building’s specific requirements. These were installed in the hotel’s lobby, restaurants, fitness centre and banquet hall, and are powered by Crown CT amplifiers.
‘In order to create a feeling of excellence, audio plays a vital role and we turned to the Harman Professional brands JBL and Crown,’ said Nalin Mandiratta, general manager, Crowne Plaza, Rohini. ‘Given their quality and product innovation, it has helped us create the right ambience for our guests.’
