Danish Interpretation Systems extends Wincomn distribution

CHINA: Danish Interpretation Systems has extended its existing six year distribution relationship with China’s Wincomm Technology Development Co Ltd. The new agreement will continue till 2014 and includes the entire DIS product range, marketing and after sales service.
The extension – jointly announced at Wincomn headquarters in Beijing by DIS general Manager Thomas Frederiksen and Wincomn CEO Tony Chen – follows a series of DIS installations within China. Most recently a digital conference system was installed into the Provincial People’s Congress of Hunan, which is located in the regional capital city of Changsha.
‘Our distribution partner has done a very good job in introducing and making DIS a respected and established brand in the conferencing market here,’ stated Mr Frederiksen, following the announcement. ‘The extension of our agreement shows our commitment to continue and expand the DIS presence in China, one of our most important markets.’
Mr Chen added that Wincomn is ‘very excited to continue our good business relationship with DIS, who continue to introduce new exciting products to the market. We shall do our best to make them available nationwide through our national offices and distribution network.’
