DAS Audio manufactures 10,000th Aero 12A

WORLD: DAS Audio is celebrating manufacturing the 10,000th unit of its Aero 12A powered line array enclosure. Dubbed a milestone moment by the Spanish loudspeaker specialist, unit number 10,000 reportedly rolled off the production line in July.
The Aero Series 2 range of line array systems is among the most popular product lines created by DAS Audio over its history of more than 40 years. It is described by the company as ‘the result of continuous effort and work developing successive generations of Aero Series systems over the past 10 years’.
The success of the Aero 12A has seen it used in a variety of high profile applications including concerts by the likes of George Benson, Justin Bieber, Alan Parsons, Guns N’ Roses and Simple Minds. Meanwhile the cabinet has been adopted by festivals including the US Ultra Music Festival, FIB and Arenal Sound in Spain, Eristoff in India and Italy’s Gods of Metal. The cabinets have also thrived in a number of permanent installations throughout South East Asia.
