DAS holds product presentation event at Olympic Park Stadium

CHINA: DAS Audio Asia and distributor Acton Audio and Musical Instruments (Shanghai) Co Ltd recently held a two-day product presentation event at the Olympic Park Stadium in Beijing, just a few days prior to the start of Palm Expo China 2012.
Dealers and rental companies in China gathered for the event, which saw the company conduct various product presentations, whilst DAS Audio’s systems engineer Ron Koh provided Aero Series training.
Products used at the event comprised 24 Aero 50 large format line arrays, 24 Aero 12A compact arrays, 16 Aero 8As, 16 LX-218C subwoofers, six LX-218CA and four LX-215A subs, as well as two Road 12A and two Road 15A powered stage monitor systems.
‘Palm Beijing is always the main event of the year for the pro audio industry in China and as such in 2011 we announced the appointment of Acton Audio and Musical Instruments (Shanghai) as our exclusive distributor for the area,’ said Eduardo Lopez, sales manager for DAS Audio Asia. ‘This year, we decided to take advantage of this period to gather most of the dealers and rental companies that we have in China and carry out a two-day product presentation, training and demo session.
‘We introduced the latest models that we have developed for installations in an indoor presentation, and showcased our full Aero series of line arrays together with our LX subs and Road stage monitors in an outdoor live demo. Finally, taking the opportunity of having such a system deployed in a very realistic set up, our systems engineer Ron Koh held a training workshop for the rental companies in China that continuously use our systems in live events all over the country.’
