Dave Croxton appointed as KV2 director of sales and marketing

WORLD: KV2 Audio has appointed Dave Croxton as its new director of sales and marketing in a move designed to ‘relaunch and revitalise the brand’. Mr Croxton previously ran a distribution company in Australia.
Mr Croxton has attributed his decision to join KV2 Audio to having the opportunity to work with George Krampera, the manufacturer’s chief of engineering, who Mr Croxton described as ‘one of the great designers of pro audio equipment in modern times’.
‘Through George’s vision, KV2 Audio has made real advances in both digital technology incorporated with speaker design and the elimination of distortion through electronics and transducer development,’ he explained.
The new director also added that he found the notion of working with point source rather than line array systems to be appealing. ‘It seems these days you have to add the word ‘array’ to a system of any size to be taken seriously,’ he declared.
‘While line arrays have provided real advances in sound reinforcement since the days of multi axis composite type systems, there are further improvements that can be achieved via point source boxes that provide substantially more output and efficiency. My job will be to make sure we have the right partners in each market to deliver this message and to ensure they have the training and tools to support our claims.’
Following Mr Croxton’s arrival, KV2 Audio is now actively pursuing new distributors in a range of global markets.
