Davwinder Sheena joins Eighteen Sound

ASIA and ME: Davwinder Sheena has been appointed as director of sales for the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific Rim territories for Italian loudspeaker manufacturer Eighteen Sound. He joins the company with a wealth of experience gained from a number of US and European pro audio brands. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing distributors and market development, focusing on China, India and other key Asian manufacturing bases.
‘We are excited to develop this important region of the world utilising the extensive experience and relationships that Davwinder brings,’ explained Eighteen Sound director of global sales, Giacomo Previ. ‘His fluency in so many Asian languages and his comfortable demeanour, make him the ideal teammate and representative of Eighteen Sound in the region.’
‘Eighteen Sound has become a serious player over the last decade and the quality Italian design and engineering that the team has come out with over the years is really a step ahead of its class,’ added Mr Sheena. ‘I am looking forward to reinforcing both their distribution and manufacturing efforts in the territory.’
The manufacturer has also appointed Jeffrey Cox to lead its sales initiatives across North America. His goal is reportedly to more broadly develop its client and market relationships in North America while continuing to strengthen the brand worldwide.
