Dayan Sivalingam named RadiantGrid director of engineering

WORLD: Wohler Technologies has appointed Dayan Sivalingam to assume the role of director of engineering for the RadiantGrid brand, a position that will see him assume responsibility for managing and growing the company’s file-based solutions engineering team. Reporting to Wohler director of engineering Steve Farmer, Mr Sivalingam will be based in Hayward, California.
Prior to his new position, Mr Sivalingam was engineering manager for software development, new media, at Harmonic, where he was responsible for managing the development team for the company's file-based transcoding and workflow management products. He also previously served as the senior software engineer for the Rhozet business unit within Harmonic. He earned bachelor of science in electrical and electronics engineering from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, India, and his masters in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
