DIS conference system for Hunan Provincial Peoples Congress

CHINA: A digital conference system from Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) has been installed into the Provincial People’s Congress of Hunan, which is located in the regional capital city of Changsha. The system was installed by Wincomn Technology Ltd.
The purchase sees the Hunan Congress join a growing a list of Chinese Governmental bodies using conferencing solutions sourced from Danish Interpretation Systems. Included within the installation are two CU6011 central units, one of which has been deployed as a back-up. As a safety requirement, an SZ6104 switcher is connected to the two central units, enabling automatic switchover to the redundant unit should a failure occur.
An FC 6021 chairman unit has also been supplied alongside 149 units of flush-mount FD6021 delegate units with GM6524 50cm gooseneck XLR microphones. JB6002 junction boxes have been used to secure any breakage in the Cat-5e daisy-chain.
Various software applications such as the DIS SW6008 user application, a SW6018 mimic display, SW6010 microphone control, and SW6050 multi-language screens enable the system to be set to a preferred language. An AMX control system completes the install.
