DIS interpretation system boosts two Filipino conferences

PHILIPPINES: A total of 1,220 sets of DIS CIE 9000 Interpretation Systems were selected for two large conferences recently held in the Philippines. Participants at a conference named ‘Manila-Guangzhou Trade and Investment Conference and Cantonese Product Promotion In Asean’ and at a lecture named ‘Love and Spiritual Power’ all relied on the units.
The Manila-Guangzhou Trade and Investment Conference and Cantonese Product Promotion In Asean conference was an event held by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and industry at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.
Approximately 500 participants attended the event, which was held to further boost the trade and investment relations between the Philippines and China. Guests used 220 sets of the DIS interpretation system. The conference, which was attended by business leaders, industry captains and government officials from both countries, included a virtual trade fair.
Meanwhile, the lecture entitled Love and Spiritual Power – held by Master Ryuho Okawa at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City – required the use of a total of 1,000 DIS CIE 9000 Interpretation Systems. Attendees at the lecture used the DIS equipment to listen to Mr Okawa’s teachings of love and happiness. The event was in English featuring Tagalog live translation. Mr Okawa is the founder of ‘happy science,’ a global movement designed to spread Mr Okawa’s message of happiness.
