DK Technologies showcases meter family to HK broadcasters

HONG KONG: DK Technologies’ CEO, Karsten Hansen, recently demonstrated the DK series meter family to customers in Hong Kong with support from the company’s Chinese distributor, Budee. Engineers and technicians from Cable Television Hong Kong, Television Broadcast Ltd, Radio Television Hong Kong and engineers from the leisure and cultural service departments of various government venues attended the seminar.
The event coincided with the recent release of a software update for the series’ flagship 7-inch touchscreen model, the DK T4, which is now available on the DK Technologies website. The meter features Star Fish and Jelly Fish display modes, short term and momentary loudness, loudness logging, true peak, absolute gated integrated loudness, dynamic gated integrated loudness, user defined presets, time code and a phase meter.
One of the guests attending the seminar on behalf of Radio Television Hong Kong, Mr Chan, said ‘it is a very useful piece of equipment for ensuring that signals are synchronised between the audio and video in everyday live broadcasts’.
